Today’s Feature:  Inception
Memorable Quote:  The seed that we planted in this man's mind may change everything- Cobb
Biblical Connection: But Matthew 13:23 says And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it; who indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty. (NASB)

Seeds.  Drop this small thing into a pile of dirt.  Water, keep warm.  In a few days something pokes through eventually turning into a thriving plant. In the movie Inception, the main character uses this same concept.  Only instead of a plant seed, he’s planting a seed of an idea in someone’s mind. Very powerful business people know that by changing another man’s mind about a particular business issue, it could have positive effects on them and their business.  So they pay Cobb to go into their dreams and plant the seed hoping it will grow into the thoughts that are necessary to accomplish what these they want.

Just like the plant seed that starts out small and becomes something big; ideas planted in our heart and mind can also become big. Bigger than we can ever imagine.  The change that takes place as a result of a tiny seed idea planted can be extraordinary.  It can make all the difference in the world as to how our lives turn out.  An eternity with Jesus, or without. Heaven or Hell.  Jesus spoke of seeds to show what can happen when a seed is planted. For some, the seed dies immediately, unaccepted.  For others, the seed grows then is choked out by weeds, or the problems of life.  Then there are seeds that grow very quickly, but their roots are in shallow soil and as soon as there is too much heat, it withers and dies. And finally, one seed, if it lands in good soil, will grow.  With one tiny seed, God can grow it into something more.  And when it grows it can be life changing.
One seed is all it takes.  One seed and one person willing to plant it.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for the idea planted in my heart that brought me to you. Forgive me for the times when I have missed planting a seed for you. With all my heart, I ask for you to continue to give me opportunities to share your message with others.

Application Steps: Has anyone ever told you that something you did had a positive effect on them? If yes, take time to think about what you did and how you can repeat this incident with someone else.
In what other ways can you plant seeds around you?  Make a list of what comes to mind. Pray and ask God to show you which to do.
